Landlocked and lost in the entrails of Central Asia, Kyrgyzstan is a fakir country: sleeps over a bed of nails, the 80% of its territory are enormous peaks. Mountains which touch the sky over the 7,000 meters. Amazing landscapes but also a busy urban life pervaded with soviet decadent heritage re-mixed with chinese, turkish and nomad influences.

Kyrgyzstan is the 'avant garde' of Central Asia: from its last revolution in 2010, it is the most open democracy of a region dominated by dictators and long-term tyrants.
